Qualifications
•
High School Diploma/GED OR 3 Years Manufacturing Experience
•
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s):
•
Obtain/Maintain a forklift license
•
Move product in and out of the Flow rails, static racking, & trailers
•
Prioritize tasks with team at shift startup & throughout the shift if necessary
•
Ability to become licensed operator (Radiation Safety & Security testing)
•
Must be able to work accurately with limited supervision
•
Work Safely
•
Ability to Speak, Read, and Write the English Language
•
Ability to use an Human Machine Interface
•
Take direction from Sterilization Technicians

Responsibilities
•
The Essential Functions of the Sterilization Operator are to ensure continuous operation of the Irradiator by maintaining product flow through the material handling system and irradiator
•
This primarily consists of loading the line driving a forklift with a slip-sheet attachment, inducting/reconciling product, and interfacing with the automated material handling system to ensure continuous operation
•
Associate will also assist Sterilization Technicians recovering from Irradiator faults
•
This position works in a small team environment, assisting Technicians with repairs, PMs, Housekeeping, and performing any other duties as necessary to maximize department OEE (uptime)
•
Shift:D Shift ( 6 p.m. – 6 a.m./Rotating Nights)
•
Operate standup/sit-down forklift with Slipsheet attachment
•
Perform basic level interaction with Fanuc Material Handling System to maximize OEE (Induct, Dosimetry Tracking, Reconcile, Line clearance, and basic fault recovery)
•
Assist Sterilization Technicians interacting with Irradiator fault recovery
•
Assist Sterilization Technicians with repairs & Preventative Maintenance Tasks
•
Work together with a small team of individuals to maximize irradiator uptime
•
Departmental Housekeeping
•
Work in a safe manner and help hold associates accountable for working safely
•
Coordination with warehouse, shipping, QC, and other personnel
•
Other duties as required ensuring department maximizes irradiator uptime
•
Maintain accurate product identification, traceability, and Material status
