Where You’ll Work & The Scope:

Vishay Dale Columbus, NE is seeking a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer would, develop, evaluate, revise, and apply technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.  Ensures activities and items follow both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.  Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.

How You’ll Help Us Build The DNA of Tech:

• Under supervision, responsible for definition and specification of quality criteria, test equipment and methods, and inspection requirements.
• Maintains liaison between departments typically–Engineering, Inspection and Production to coordinate product quality and process efficiency.
• Develops product and process performance measurements including generating monthly quality reports for management review, performing trend analysis of quality data, generating special quality reports for customers and supplier development reports.
• Handles/reviews supplier and/or customer corrective actions, determines responsibility and assigns for completion.

Experience You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Desired 1 – 3 year’s experience with knowledge of quality specifications such as ISO-14001, AS9100, ISO-9001 and ISO/TS-16949, etc.
