Responsibilities
•
Responsible for project work relating to electrical, mechanical, and programming systems of new and existing equipment
•
Responsible for assisting manufacturing Global Technicians with manufacturing floor maintenance issues as necessary, as well as mentoring the manufacturing Global Technicians in trouble shooting methods and techniques of manufacturing processes and equipment
•
Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures
•
Support the Controls Coordinator & Process Engineers in implementation of process improvements in the area of mechanical & electrical systems, programming, and Vision Systems
•
Electrical and Pneumatic Machine Design and programming
•
Support Plant initiatives in Vision Inspection technology and implementation
•
Coordinate Continuous Improvement efforts with Process Engineers to enhance processes
•
Technical development of the manufacturing Global Technicians
•
Project management for medium or smaller projects
•
Execute IOQ validation protocols for Controls Systems and Vision Systems, and new equipment installations and process improvements as directed
•
Assist in development of machine settings and validated parameters for equipment
•
Assist in identifying future and current machine component and system risks
•
Continuously learn and keep abreast of new developments in technology in the Controls, Vision, and Process Monitoring industry
•
Assist in establishing plant wide controls standards
•
