Behlen Country Customer Service Representative

DESCRIPTION: This Customer Service Representative position handles a variety of tasks related to inside sales and customer service of the Behlen Country product line and its customers.  There is focus on taking calls to answer questions customers may have with regards to their orders, shipments, products, and some technical questions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dealer/customer telephone sales and customer service daily
• Communicate product information and pricing
• Communicate specifications, animal use, as well as benefits of the Behlen Country products
• Communicate order status, estimated delivery schedules, and feasibility of add-ons.
• Processing of verbal and written product orders
• Processing of credit memos
• Maintain customer database and log customer interaction information into Salesforce.com
• Prepare correspondence and quotations for the various products and customers as required
• Represent Behlen Country and Behlen Mfg. Co. at tradeshows or customer meetings as necessary
• Transmit customer order acknowledgements, PODs, or invoices as necessary
• Practice safe working habits and follow safety policy, procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001:2015.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-year degree preferred
• Strong telephone sales skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word required.
• Knowledge of ECCCO
• Able to handle a fast-paced team environment
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire for self-improvement through education and training.
