Qualifications
•
Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and BD safety laws, policies and procedures
•
Associate’s Degree required
•
7-10 years of manufacturing experience in medical device or high speed automation environment required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
•
Basic knowledge, skills, and abilities around communication, interpersonal, decision making, analytical, organizational, and manufacturing support systems
•
Proficient with computers, AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Six Sigma, multi-tasking, and high speed manufacturing
•
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US

Responsibilities
•
Responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement project implementation within a high speed automation manufacturing process in a clean room environment (SCF)
•
Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering subject areas expected
•
Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation
•
Works with Mechanical Technicians to support daily production/waste goals by keeping equipment running correctly and maintained by administrating equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM)
•
Conceive and implement process improvements to support the business
•
Obtain Change Initiation Request (CIR) approval to implement changes
•
Perform validations for new products, machines and machine changes
•
Provide support to address quality issues
•
Other duties as assigned
